The Rural Energy Board (REB) conducted a visit to Msomera in Handeni district, where new settlements are being established by people voluntarily moving from the Ngorongoro National Park. Various commitments have been made to ensure the success of this relocation.

REA (Rural Energy Agency) spends 44 billion to build electricity distribution projects in rural areas in the Pwani Region. Engineer Saidy said the project aims to bring electricity to 30 small mines in the districts of Bagamoyo, Chalinze, and Kisarawe, as well as to agricultural areas not yet served by electricity in the Pwani Region, costing more than 2.456 billion shillings.
