Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Hon. Dr. Doto Biteko (Mb), has congratulated EWURA for the good management of the small petroleum sector in the country, especially in ensuring the quality and availability of the service on time and at the right price. Dr.  Biteko gave these compliments today 19.01.2024, during a special seminar organized by EWURA for the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Energy and Minerals, on the conduct of the oil business in the country for the period from September to December 2023. “I highly commend EWURA for managing the oil sector well and ensuring the certainty and quality of the product's availability on time, as well as managing the drop in oil import costs in the country, where they have recently continued to drop and bring relief to the end consumer” he said. And the Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Dr. David Mathayo David (Mb), has congratulated EWURA and asked them to continue to control the traders.
