In a significant development for energy access in Tanzania, the Kigamboni District Commissioner, Halima Bulembo, has lauded Puma Energy Tanzania for its ongoing initiatives to simplify access to energy services and products across the nation. Her remarks came during the official launch of a new fuel station and additional services in Dege Mtaa, Somangila Ward, Kigamboni Municipality, Dar es Salaam. Bulembo emphasized the crucial role of the energy sector in Tanzania's economic growth and highlighted the need for collaboration between the government and the private sector to ensure that all citizens benefit from this progress.

The newly inaugurated fuel station is poised to significantly enhance accessibility for residents in Dege Mtaa and surrounding neighborhoods. By providing easy access to fuel and lubricant products, the station will alleviate the burden of long-distance travel for these essential services. Furthermore, the facility will offer additional value-added services, including a supermarket for household items and affordable cooking gas cylinder refills, effectively making it a one-stop shop for the community's needs.

Bulembo expressed her appreciation for Puma Energy's commitment to reaching Tanzanians in underserved areas and acknowledged the company's partnership with the government in advancing the energy sector.
