The Authority for Energy and Water Services Regulatory (EWURA), has received the second winner award in the Best Management of Indigenous Participation in Strategic Projects in the Country. TANROADS takes first place while TAA comes third.

Those awards prepared by the Council for Economic Empowerment of Citizens (NEEC), have been given by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Energy, Dkt. Doto Mashaka Biteko during the conference held on 28.04.2024; Central Bank of Tanzania hall, Dar es Salaam city.

The conference featured various stakeholders from the government namely EWURA, PURA, TANROADS, TAKWIMU, Minerals Commission, TIRA, Nyerere Dam Electricity Project(JNHPP), Ministry of Natural Resources (via REGROW project), PPRA, IRDP, EACOP, ERB, CRB; civil foundations and financial institutions.
