The Government of Tanzania has signed a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) for  Ruvuma block after 12 years of production

The agreement sets the procedure for the Government to get more income for the first time through gross income (Gross), where it will get 75 percent compared to the previous time when it got 68 percent down.

Immediately after signing the contract, the Minister of Energy, January Makamba said, "This day is big and historic because the Government is going to get 75 percent of the Gross Income.

Makamba added that, "This is the interpretation of win-win and this work has been done within one year."

However, he has called on the investors to work quickly, so that within 12 to 18 months the gas can be used
